Journal of Fisheries of China Aim and Scope

JFC has the longest history among fisheries journals in China. It is aimed to promote the development of aquatic science research in China, strengthen international academic exchanges, and public the latest scientific achievements and research progress within the field. Most of the published articles belongs to the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Climbing Program, the "863" and "973" Programs, the National Key Science and Technology Program, the "Yangtze River Scholars Program", and other international cooperative research projects, reflecting new achievements and development trend of fisheries science and technology research in China.

The journal publishes original research articles in aquaculture and fisheries, with a variety of topics concerning fishery resources, aquaculture and reproduction, marine fishing, preservation and processing of aquatic products and comprehensive utilization, fishery waters environment protection, fishing vessels, fishery machinery and instruments. Both theoretical and empirical papers are welcomed, but combinations are particularly encouraged. Review papers are also accepted by JFC.
