Understanding the interdisciplinary science of agrometeorology concerned with discovering, defining and applying knowledge of the interactions between meteorological and hydrological factors and biological systems to practical use in agriculture is the decisive goal to extend and fully deploy knowledge of atmospheric and related processes to optimize agricultural production and hence, to increase profitability, decrease risk and feed an expanding global population, lastly to help conserve natural resources and protect our soil, plant, and water resources.

The Journal of Agrometeorology (JAM) is aimed at bringing together top-quality research across the entire spectrum of Agrometeorological Science along with relevant work in related domains at no cost in long run.
